2010 WM3 Chicago Benefit Event Sponsors

Sponsors

RedStar Entertainment, Booking and Touring founded this event after owner and 15 plus year WM3 supporter found that new trials were being argued for and the defense was in need of funding. Upon making the decision to do this benefit in late August, Dina has been working hard to gain sponsors, raffles prizes, and entertainment for the event. RedStar EBT, is a company where the artist and their music comes first, RedStar manages, books, and promotes unsigned artists, but also does some national booking too. RedStar also is reponsible for putting artist on tours across the country. Although RedStar is not very old, owner Dina Damato has been in the music industry for 18 plus years now starting out with helping local bands while learning the ropes herself. Dina has been a driving force in the Chicago music scene since she entered it years ago, and no matter what artist she is helping or where she is she remembers where her roots are. You can learn more about RedStar and what they offer by finding them on Facebook
or email Dina Damato at cryforjusticewm3@gmail.com.

Normally benefits take months of planning, because Roman jumped on right when Dina decided to do this which was late August, the vision has been able to become a reality. Roman is responsible for the compilation CD that will be given away at the event and inserted in the December issue of Rock Scarz Magazine. Also the December issue will be available while supplies last at the event. Tony Shark-Labarbera
Promoter, booking agent, magazine editor, to name a few things, originally was responsible for booking the event at the Portage Theater, but as it grew and because of artist scheduling we had to change venues and add another date to it which is of course not a bad thing. Tony’s biggest part in his sponsorship is giving the event a full page ad in his paper magazine, THE CHICAGO ROCKER! So be looking out for that soon!

Bill Morton Radio Promotions
Bill Morton has been in the radio promotion business for seven years and in the music industry as a musician and record label owner for over fifteen years. “I first heard of Dina Damato during my musician days while performing at The Thirsty Whale and later when shopping my band to Fuse Records Chicago. Another Hole In The Wall is also partaking in the promotions, food discounts, and much more. Don, the owner of the venue has been very awesome in his assistance to the benefit and also owns the store right next store to Another Hole In The Wall, called Ma’s Wholesale which sells all kinds of concert shirts, band shirts, novelty shirts and many other articles of clothing, cool alternative type clothing. The store also has a “head shop” corner for those who enjoy smoking. Artist Nicole Garcia AKA Living Dead Girl Nicole has been creating art since she was a little dead girl. She was the type of kid that would pick up a marker to color her Barbie dolls hair fun colors to make them “different”. When other little girls wanted to be ballerinas, Nicole wanted to be Elvira. To this day Nicole’s art remains unique and different. She finds beauty in all things dark, spooky and mythical which allows  aspects of that to be reflected not only in her style but also in her artwork. Her artwork has won the 2nd Congressional Art Competition/Show, was featured in The Truth and Fantasies Gallery Exhibit and displayed at the American Academy of Art. It has been talked about in newspapers, magazines (such as Girls and Corpses) and has even been used for t-shirt designs, fundraiser items, wall murals and weddings. Being a huge horror movie and rock music fan Nicole has also been able to give her fan art to such people as Rob & Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, George Romero, Linda Blair and Cassandra Peterson AKA Elvira. Nicole has an online Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/LivingDeadGirlNicole where you can purchase her artwork or even commission her to create a unique item for you. She also can be contacted via her art site at: http://livingdeadgirlnicoleart.blogspot.com/
